We are a family operated business that is committed to preserving the beauty, environment and legacy of the Chesapeake Bay, while promoting the leisure activities of the Elk and surrounding rivers.
Our marinas are conveniently located on the Elk River at the Head of the Chesapeake Bay. We are the Upper Chesapeake Bay's "Best Kept Secret". Just south of Wilmington, DE and only an hour from Philadelphia, Lancaster or Baltimore, we are easily accessible from I-95 and offer many personal services to enhance your recreational visit. We offer a variety of recreational services including full marina services and boat slips. Our experienced service staff is always ready to serve you.

Our convenient location offers many opportunities for land or water day trips. Since we are only a 15 minute boat ride from the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, our customers have easy access to the Delaware Bay and Jersey Shore points. Maryland's Eastern Shore offers many recreational activities, all within easy reach of our marinas. See the "Area Attractions" link for additional information.
We have a "Store and Launch" program for boats up to 23'. See our "Store and Launch" page for a description of this convenient program.
We provide repair service, winterization and winter storage for both slip holders and non slip holders. We have a large, fenced storage area with water and power and would be glad to discuss your boating needs for any season. See our Marine Services page for details.
We have completed a full renovation of the facilities, piers and slips at Taylor's Marina. With new pilings decking, finger piers, restrooms and showers and repair shop improvements, Taylor's is a first class companion to Locust Point Marina. We are proud to have both Locust Point and Taylor's certified as "Maryland Clean Marinas".
As part of our continuous improvement program, we have a MarinaCam and weather station at our Locust Point Marina. You can now check the local weather conditions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our weather station updates on our website every hour. Our web cam updates every 5 minutes during daylight hours. Our customers love these additions! In addition to seeing "what's up" at the marina and watching the sunsets, they enjoy the comfort of being able to view the marina while they are not there.
NEW!! As part of our commitment to help maintain the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay, we have volunteered to be a Maryland Department of Natural Resources Continuous Monitoring Station for water quality. The real time results are posted online at the DNR website.
The long-awaited dredging of the upper Elk River is now complete...providing a clean channel from our marinas to the deep-water C&D Canal.
Please explore our website for additional information about our services. Check back frequently as we'll be updating our website to reflect the new changes.
