Abbott infant formula (Similac) producer recently has issued a proactive voluntary recall of powdered formula. Our office routinely provides sample formula to new moms and when a formula change has been recommended. As a quality pediatric practice, we recommend that any sample formula distributed by Similac be disposed of, or returned to the company at no cost to you. For additional questions or concerns regarding this matter you may contact the company at 800-986-8850.

If your child is ill on the day of your appointment, please call to make arrangements for your child to have a visit with a physician prior to receiving the flu vaccine.
