Established in 1988, Maryland Elevator Services, Inc. is a full service Maryland elevator company and full service escalator company, with over 80 years experience in the vertical transportation Industry. Maryland Elevator provides sales, service, and maintenance for commercial and residential elevator and escalator systems. Maryland Elevator provides expert services on more than 1000 elevators, escalators and special application lifts throughout Maryland, Washington D.C. and Baltimore. Located in Crofton, Maryland, Maryland Elevator also provides immediate and cost-effective services to all commercial and residential elevator and escalator systems in Northern Virginia and Annapolis, Maryland regions.

With such a large service area, Maryland Elevator employs highly-trained service technicians from the International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC), Washington and Baltimore Locals. Each Mechanic and Helper must attend a five-year industry training school as required by the National Elevator Industry Educational Program prior to receiving IUEC Mechanic Certification. Maryland Elevator's service technicians possess the skills necessary to install, repair and maintain all types of elevators and escalators, including microprocessor controls.

All work to elevators and escalators is performed by International Union of Elevator Constructors Certified Mechanics. Each highly-skilled mechanic has successfully completed the required five-year training program as outlined by the National Elevator Industry Educational Program. (NEIEP) The NEIEP Program is recognized throughout the United States and Canada as the standard training program of the elevator industry.

In addition to the NEIEP certification, many of the mechanics employed by Maryland Elevator Services, Inc. have attended training courses given by leading elevator controls systems manufacturers, in order to maintain skills to perform new installations, repair and maintenance on the latest technological advancements in our industry.

Preventive maintenance for elevators and esculators is critical to the cost-effective operation of vertical transportation systems. Maryland Elevator performs regular preventative maintenance for elevators and esculators in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. The manufacturer's specifications are incorporated into Maryland Elevators' maintenance service guide provided to each customer. Each elevator and escalator unit is serviced by Maryland Elevator certified technicians relying upon a service guide specifically tailored for that particular elevator or escalator unit.

In addition to a service guide, Maryland Elevator will provide a company log book for each elevator and escalator project. The log book is used to record all work performed, including the date each elevator or escalator service is performed. All elevator and escalator service task will also be logged at our corporate office for redundancy.
