Range: Home Specialists has built decks from 72 square feet to over 2,000 square feet. We build standard pressure-treated wood decks as well as low-maintenance decks. We build with any product of the owners choosing as well as recommend products to our costumers based on their particular desires and budget. We build very simple standard rectangular decks as well as customized decks with multi-levels and infrequent shapes and complex stairways.

Standard (low) Wood decks ** - 16 sq. ft. (includes steps)
Standard (high) Wood decks ** - 18 sq. ft. (steps additional 1500)
Standard (low) Low - maintenance decks - 26.00 sq. ft. (includes steps)
Standard (high) low - maintenance decks - 29.00 sq. ft. (steps additional 2200)

* Standard is defined as rectangular in shape and built on one level. Simple designs with minimal angles and offsets may also qualify for standard pricing (please inquire). See deck projects include for all standard inclusions.
** Low decks are up to five feet off the ground.
*** High decks are generally eight to nine feet off the ground. (occasionally, decks are built from six to eight feet off the ground and would be quoted at a cost between low and high.)

All applicable building permits
Includes all required drawings ( I. E mechanical, footers, etc.)

Includes all required ice reports on decking and rail material.

Contractors will provide owner an HOA packet when applicable. ( Elevation drawings provided when required.)

Premium grade 5/4 x6 pressure treated wood decking.
Owner choice of the standard composite decking product line from Geo deck, Trex, Timbertech, Evergrain, Fiberon, or comparable

4x4 rail posts, 2x6 top cap, 2x2 baluster.
White Vinyl railing by Maryland Vinyl Products ( Vekadek style molds) or comparable.

1x4 trim on deck perimeter to cover ends of decking boards. Stairs (when applicable) are boxed in with trim on the sides and risers.
White cellular pvc trim on deck perimeter and stair sides and risers ( when applicable).
