Discovering a local church for your family is an enormous challenge. Dunkirk Baptist Church invites you to check us out. Worship with us, attend a Bible study and enjoy the caring people in the church family.
Our goal is to help connect you with God and a local church community. If DBC cannot meet your spiritual needs, we would be happy to assist you in finding other church opportunities in the community.
We regard the Bible in its original text to be accurate and without error. Its uncompromising truth remains just as applicable today as when Jesus Christ walked on the earth. Our messages concentrate on exploring the Bible to find practical principles that apply to everyday living.
We hope that you will enjoy your visit as you explore our web site. Please feel free to contact us and please accept our invitation to visit Dunkirk Baptist Church.

Saturday, October 30, you will have an opportunity to participate in two different activities.
First, there will be an opportunity to distrubute food and clothing to homeless in Washington, DC. This ministry is part of the Praise & Thunder monthly activity. We will meet at church at 11:00 am to pack lunches and then leave the church on the church bus to go to McPhereson Park to distribute the food and clothing.

Oct 3 - Guest Speaker from Praise & Thunder will share this ministry and how you can be a part of it. We go the first Saturday of each month to DC to distribute food and clothing.
Oct 10 - Guest Speaker from the Calvert Churches Community Food Pantry will talk about this ministry and how it aids county residents in need of groceries
Oct 17 - Guest Speaker representing Camp COPS. We will hear about this program and how it encourages young children. We have a presence there in serving lunches.
Oct 24 We will hear from a representative from Safe Nights. Our church has provided Sunday sanctuary for homeless in our county. Beginning this year, we will also provide food and shelter for one week during the winter.
