Dr. Karlene Wright has been practicing dentistry for ten years. She graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry before doing a residency at Howard University Hospital. Dr. Wright received two awards upon her graduation. The Dr. E. Preston Lee Award given to the female senior who has demonstrated the greatest proficiency in operative dentistry. The Dr. Coleman R. Tuckson and Mrs. Evelyn Tuckson Award is given by their sons to the female senior student who has demonstrated academic excellence in patient sensitivity and outstanding achievement in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Maryland State Dental Association and the Southern MD Dental Society. Dr. Wright has been a volunteer to treat patients in underserved areas in Jamaica.
