Need to raise money for your school organization, church group, sports team or your own personal trip to Bora Bora? South Street Steaks is the perfect place to host a fundraiser. Heres how it works.
You call us and set a date. Monday-Thursday from 4-9pm works best.
You print up some flyers or send out a mass email to whoever you want, telling them to come eat at South Street during the scheduled time.
Give those people a flyer or password to give to us when they come in
We give you 20% of the sales associated with your group.
A few days to a week later we will cut you a check!
You call us saying how happy you are and schedule 6 more fundraisers.
Sound good? Yeah, we thought so. So give us a call at whichever store youd like to do your fundraiser at and ask to speak to a manager or owner. Its just that simple. Remember, the more people that come in to eat, the more money you make, so we encourage you to be proactive when marketing your event. If you need assistance, please let us know. We look forward to hearing from you.
Cheese Whiz, American or Provolone cheeses available.
For all you skeptical Philadelphians, we do have Cheez Whiz!
"Cheesesteak's served on Amoroso Rolls... the only way it should!"
"We will not put Swiss cheese or mayonnaise on a cheesesteak," reads a sign behind the counter at South Street Steaks. "If you want mayo, you can put it on yourself. We have packets."
Hallelujah! Finally, there's a real Philly cheesesteak in the DC area. I can't believe this day has finally come!
For anyone who's not a Philadelphia native, the copious amounsts of Cheez Whiz that South Street Steaks co-owner Jamie Rash slathers onto a Philly-style cheese steak sandwich might be cause for alarm. Ignore your better instincts and order one anyway.
