Dr. Beth Tedesco has been providing high-quality chiropractic care in Rockville since 1993. Her experience, skill, and concern for her patients and their families have made Healing Hands an outstanding practice for over twenty years. Many patients have been with her since her doors first opened.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude in International Relations from Tulane University, Beth Tedesco knew that her passion in life was to make people’s lives better in a personal, hands-on way.
She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Summa Cum Laude, from The National University of Health Sciences. She is a member of the American and Maryland Chiropractic Associations, the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research, and the International Chiropractic Association Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics.
Dr. Sofia Tedesco grew up admiring how chiropractic care helps people recover from injuries or maintain wellness in a compassionate, noninvasive way. She realized that her passion in life was to help other people’s health improve through her gentle and individualized care.
She honed her scientific expertise at Grinnell College, earning a degree in biological chemistry. She completed physical chemistry research at the California Institute of Technology and conducted scientific reviews at the Food and Drug Administration.
She went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from the University of Western States chiropractic program where she was awarded scholarships for both academic excellence and nutritional expertise. She completed residencies at the East Portland Chiropractic Clinic and Las Vegas Veterans Hospital.
