As of March 31, 2010, Frederick County Bank maintains a solid Four Star rating from Bankrate.com and the top Five Star rating from Bauer Financial, Inc.
Frederick County Bank has elected to continue participating in the FDIC's temporary Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, effective July 1 through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount of the account. Unlimited insurance coverage also includes low-interest NOW accounts (earning 0.25% interest or less). Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
Frederick County Bank will never send an email requesting that you verify personal information. If you receive such an email from any bank, delete it immediately. Never click on a link in a suspect email as it may take you to a website that looks valid but which is actually a counterfeit site.
