Harmony Hearing & Audiology is a cutting-edge hearing aid programming facility, audiology, and hearing assessment practice located in Festival at Bel Air. It was built by Dr. Matt Perry, Audiologist, and Harford County native with strong roots in the community. He received his undergraduate training, a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science, from the University of Utah. While he was studying Out West, Towson University announced the addition a new doctoral degree audiology program, becoming one of the first universities in the nation to offer the Clinical Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.). Dr. Perry welcomed the opportunity to return home and obtained his Doctorate of Audiology from Towson University.
During his doctoral studies, Dr. Perry had the opportunity to work in nine different clinical settings throughout the state of Maryland. During that time, he observed and studied what worked in the field of audiology and advanced hearing aids and what didn’t work so well, with the goal in mind of opening a successful private practice. During his four years of doctoral education, he became a passionate student of hearing aid technology and hearing aid programming. One year after graduating as an audiologist, Dr. Perry opened Harmony Hearing & Audiology in his home town of Bel Air, Maryland.
The practice has grown rapidly, as satisfied patient’s refer their friends and family and local physicians refer their patients for hearing assessments. Dr. Perry attributes the success to his passion for advanced hearing aid technology, treating patients the way he would treat a family member, and incorporating state-of-the art technology into every patient experience.

Dr. Perry currently lives in Bel Air, Maryland (in Harford County) with his wife, two sons, and infant daughter. When he’s not thinking about being an audiologist and working with hearing aids, he is very involved in his church community, enjoys music performance and composition, and likes playing European board games with friends and family.

Dr. Perry has state of the art software that allows him to customize your hearing aid for your specific need. Dr. Perry will continue to work with you until he finds the hearing aid that best fits your need.
