Bowers & Snyder Opticians is a Baltimore area family run business, founded in 1947 by Bill Bowers, father of current Managing Partner, Brad Bowers. For over 60 years it has been our goal to maintain the highest level of professionalism possible. Our Optical staff averages 20 years experience and each understands the importance of building customer loyalty, and the kind of service that loyalty requires. This is part of the reason that “we promise to take more than an hour making your glasses.”
To see our frame collection or talk with us about your prescription, visit one of Bowers & Snyder’s six store locations. Our staff is trained to work with all types of prescriptions, and will verify that you received exactly what your doctor ordered for you. If your present eyewear needs a small repair or a comfort adjustment, we are happy to provide these services at no cost. Large repairs will require a nominal fee.
Many of today’s cutting-edge lens products require 1 to 2 weeks to prepare. More basic eyewear takes a couple of days, and rush service is available.
