Welcome to Glade Valley Animal Hospital. Our practice has been dedicated to serving the communities of Walkersville, Frederick and the surrounding area with quality medicine and surgery since 1948. We offer comprehensive veterinary care including modern diagnostics, therapeutics, and surgery performed in our spacious new hospital opened in 1998.
We are proud of our professional staff and the loving and caring support they provide. Our veterinarians and staff are committed to staying current through yearly continuing education opportunities. We also offer

a wide range of board certified referrals if specialized care is required.
Through the years the practice of veterinary medicine in general and at Glade Valley Animal Hospital in particular has changed dramatically. Through this transition we have sought to continue our tradition of treating people and their pets with compassion and respect like we'd wish to be treated ourselves. In order to serve you better with more products, better pricing and the assurance that the products you receive are coming directly from the manufacturer, we have recently changed our online store distributer. Clients receiving special compounded medications from Vetcentric should continue to order those directly from that pharmacy.
