Reserve Your Spot Now. We invite you to come out to attend our free introductory lesson, which is held most Saturdays at 1:30 PM. This is a great way to see the farm and meet our horses and instructors. If you have never taken a riding lesson, it will give you a chance to experience the fun and challenge of learning to ride.
This year's theme is "The Nature of the Horse." We will explore how horses think and learn, how to work with them on the ground to gain their confidence and trust, and how to use our own bodies correctly while mounted to earn their willing partnership. Huge Congratulations to Reddemeade's Junior/Young Rider Dressage Teams!
Reddemeade's two Walk/Trot teams finished Champion and Reserve. Our Training 1/2 Team was Reserve Champion and our Training 3/4 Team was Champion at the USDF Region 1 Jr/YR Team Championships at Morven Park in Leesburg, VA July 24 - 25. We are even more proud of our riders' great sportsmanship and horsemanship as they braved extreme heat and violent storms with great team spirit, aplomb and devotion to their horses. What a great group of young equestrians!
This year's theme was "The Nature of the Horse." We explored how horses think and learn, how to work with them on the ground to gain their confidence and trust (including round pen work), and how to use our own bodies correctly while mounted to earn their willing partnership.
Jane Seigler presented a talk "Finding Managing & Keeping GREAT Employees for your horse business" at the MD Horse World Expo in Timonium. Having had the greatest employees in the horse industry in Maryland for the past 25 years (at least our opinion), Jane's talk was extremely well received.
