Operation Walk Maryland is a branch of a new global campaign bringing hope to those in need of advanced surgical orthopedic treatments.
We are a private, not-for-profit, volunteer medical service organization that provides free surgical treatment for patients in developing countries and occasionally in the United States suffering from disabling arthritis or other debilitating bone and joint conditions. This treatment is catered toward those who have little to no access to life-improving care.
In an effort to create a lasting contribution toward the care of patients, Operation Walk Maryland team members educate in-country orthopedic surgeons and other health care professionals about advanced surgical techniques, disease treatments, and recovery procedures for hip and knee joint conditions.
