CV Surgical Associates operate exclusively at Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC) and direct the Thoracic Oncology Program

Working in collaboration with the Peninsula Heart Center at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, we have established one of the busiest heart programs in Maryland, performing over 650 heart cases each year.

Our facilities and techniques are state of the art. Our surgical team now performs revolutionary procedures like endoscopic vein harvest, transmyocardial revascularlization (TMR) and, now, beating-heart valve surgery. These procedures are done at only a few of the country's leading medical centers.

We also lead the way in research. We are collaborating with Duke University in the Prevent IV trials, we are working with Johns Hopkins University studying the cause of early vein graft closure and have published papers on the effectiveness of TMR and establishing its role in conjunction with coronary artery bypass.
