DIRECTIONS TO THE SHOP:
THE ANTIQUE CLOCK & WATCH SHOP is situated just a
few miles north of WASHINGTON, D.C., on the picturesque,
old-fashioned MAIN STREET of historic ELLICOTT CITY,
From WASHINGTON, take ROUTE 95 NORTH to the
BALTIMORE BELTWAY. BEAR LEFT on Route 95,
ENTERING WESTBOUND onto the Beltway (ROUTE 695).
Proceed on the Beltway approximately FIVE MILES to
ROUTE 40 WEST (EXIT 15W). BEAR RIGHT from the
Beltway, onto the ROUTE 40 WEST EXIT.
Proceed WEST on Route 40 approximately ONE-HALF
MILE to the stoplight at ROLLING ROAD (note the
"DOUBLE T DINER" to your right-front at the intersection).
TURN LEFT onto ROLLING ROAD, heading SOUTH for
approximately ONE MILE, where it DEADENDS at a "T"
with OLD FREDERICK ROAD.
Turn RIGHT onto OLD FREDERICK ROAD, heading WEST,
and follow it approximately 5 MILES directly into ELLICOTT
CITY, where it becomes MAIN STREET.
Follow it under the RAILROAD BRIDGE, past the FIRST
STOP LIGHT, and up MAIN STREET to just beyond the
SECOND STOP LIGHT.
Watch the LEFT side of the street for the PUBLIC
PARKING ENTRANCE SIGN, clearly visible just BEFORE
passing the U.S. POST OFFICE. (Note that the parking
spaces painted with WHITE STRIPES are FREE !!)
After parking, just stroll approximately TWO BLOCKS
further up MAIN STREET, where you'll find the ANTIQUE
CLOCK & WATCH SHOP on the LEFT SIDE of the street,
hidden away within a BIG GRAY CORRUGATED TIN
BUILDING THAT LOOKS LIKE AN OLD HORSE BARN
(which is exactly what it once was). Drop in and say
"Howdy" to Mr. Sink. He'll be delighted to meet you !!
