The Hinckley Company was founded in 1928 and is considered to be one of the oldest yacht builders in the U.S. The company’s Sou’wester sailboats, Talaria jet boats and the SC prop boat range in length from 29 to 70 feet and are each hand-built to order, and include the following models: Picnic Boat, T29C, T29R, T38R, SC42, T40, T44, T55, DS42, SW42, SW51, SW52, SW59, SW61, SW70. The company has full-service yards in Southwest Harbor, Maine, Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Oxford, Maryland, Savannah, Georgia and Stuart, Florida. The service yards provide full yacht refit, maintenance, repair and storage services for boats up to 150 feet in length and 180 tons. The company also operates a yacht brokerage, charter service and retail Ships Store.
