To continue, through interest and education, the handed down art of knitting and needlepointing. Our mothers and grandmothers, aunts and cousins have passed to us the tools to enjoy the creation and completion of some of the most beautiful hand made items ever seen. These works of detailed perfection are enjoyed year after year by their existence in our homes and the homes of our loved ones.

To pass this ability on to our friends and loved ones would be our gift to the next generation...and so on.

The hours spent on these marvelous creations deserve the very finest of materials. We carry only the highest quality materials available. They are hand selected by our staff after hours of careful deliberation and years of experience in choosing only the very best.

The company was purchased in 1996 by one of its customers, Alexandra Woods. Alex's love of the art and enjoyment of needlepointing gave her the courage to purchase the shop and continue its service to the patrons of Anne Arundel and surrounding counties. She continues to be a major daily contributor to its success and the success of her many loyal customers.

Our membership and participation in TNNA, MANRA and other professional organizations further promotes our commitment to the art. We regularly attend trade shows, workshops and classes to enhance our capabilities and yours.

"They are a godsend!"... one customer said. "So many choices!"...said another. Our commitment to the customer... their satisfaction! We are full service. And if you didn't buy the materials from us, come in anyway, we'll help you through the trouble spots!

We are seasoned veterans! Robin C., Robin P., Anne, Hannah, Dorothy, Carolyn, Linda and Alex will guide you pleasantly through your next project. But, it doesn't stop there. If we can't help you, we will direct you to someone who can!

Holly is currently working part-time. All of our staff hopes to make your shopping experience a pleasant one.

We are located in the Festival at Riva Shopping Center at the intersections of Riva Road and Forest Drive. We are located above East of Maui dive and surf shop, in the only two-story building in the complex (adjacent to the old Blockbuster Video). You may use the stairs at either end of the building or the elevator on the right hand side to reach the second level and the entrance to our shop. We're worth the trip!

(Please note that we often follow the Anne Arundel County School closings for inclement weather. Before driving over in bad road conditions, please call our store to confirm if we're open.)
