On May 23rd the world of woodworking lost a legend.Sam Maloof, at age 93 has passed at his estate in Cucamonga California. Sam was a gentleman and ambassador for
the art community at large but especially for woodworkers everywhere. His ability to inspire others, his easy manner
and great skills will be missed. Consider making a donation in his memory. http://www.malooffoundation.org/
September sees the passing of another legend in the
woodworking/arts world. Author and woodworker James Krenov passed
away in Fort Bragg, California, on September 9, 2009. He was 88 years old. In 2003,
Fine Woodworking magazine asked Krenov how he would like to be remembered...
He responded, “As a stubborn, old enthusiast." Mouse over image at right for link to
