The Eleanor Pernia Studio of Dance,
established in 1962, has presented Beltsville, Silver Spring, Laurel, Burtonsville, University Park, Greenbelt, Hyattsville, Montgomery county, Prince George county of Maryland and Washington DC area with excellent dance lessons since 1967. The Studio has since been successful in providing a dynamic, nurturing environment and dance instructions for virtually all aspects of dance training. Eleanor Pernia Studio offers variety of dance classes in Tap, Kinderdance, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, International and Social Ballroom, Salsa, Swing, Yoga, Belly dance and much more including wedding first dance choreography, accommodating to all ability levels and ages, from the earliest beginner to professional level. Our students are given a number of opportunities to perform and compete through programs as The Recital and Star Struck Competition team.
Our unique approach focuses on helping
students learn in a fun and supportive environment where they can experience the joy of expressing themselves through dance.
We have professionally trained instructors that have a passion for the art of dance and experience in instruction. We constantly renovate and improve our facilities and provide ongoing training to our staff to ensure we are always providing our students and parents with the best experience possible.
Classes are offered in Ballet, Tap, Kinderdance,
Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, International and Social Ballroom, Salsa, Swing, Yoga, Belly dance and much more including Wedding First Dance choreography.
We also offer an exercise program for health and fitness (yoga, pilates).
Group, Private Classes and Classical Russian ballet program are available.
