Towards the end of the gospel of Matthew, just before Judas' betrayal of Jesus and his trial and crucifixion, we read Jesus' teaching about -the judgment of the nations? In this final teaching (at least for this gospel writer), Jesus lets us know that treating each other compassionately--as we would him--is very important at the last day when we stand before God.

The Thanksgiving Day Dinner at St. Philip's Church is an established tradition.
We count on your help and participation so that together, we can brighten the lives of many, as we give thanks for God's blessings.
We provide a free dinner to anyone in the community who would like to come.
Our doors are open to families, singles, couples, and those who have no resources for a dinner.
We'll also deliver meals and pick up anyone who needs a ride to church.
